3 Ways to Prepare for Your Dental Checkup

Is your next dental checkup coming up soon? If it’s been a while since your last one, you may wonder about what you need to do to prepare:

  1. Know Where You’re Going. If this is your first time at our office, make sure you know exactly where we’re located and how to get here. Even if you’re using GPS, it’s a good idea to take a look at our “tour the office” page so you know what our building looks like and where to find the entrance. This way, you won’t waste any time trying to find us and can plan for traffic or parking if you’re driving. If you need directions, just give us a call – we’re happy to help!
  2. Fill Out Your Paperwork For your first appointment, we’ll need you to fill out some paperwork. To save time during your visit, we’ve made these forms easy to download so you can complete them at home. This way, you’ll have plenty of time to provide all the necessary information and can call us with any questions you might have about the forms.
  3. Brush and Floss: You don’t need to go overboard with your oral hygiene right before your appointment, but it’s a good idea to brush and floss the night before and the morning of your visit. This will help your dentist focus on your check-up without being distracted by any big pieces of food that could have been easily removed. If you’re in a rush and don’t have time for a thorough cleaning, don’t worry – we’re just glad you made it to your appointment!

If you still need to schedule your checkup, call 479-668-3109 or schedule online for an appointment at Dallas Street Dental in Fort Smith, AR.
