Depending on the level of damage to a tooth, we can a lot of times just do a composite filling restoration on there, and that’s just a material that’s bonded to your tooth structure, if you have enough remaining tooth structure. If there’s not enough solid tooth structure to do a filling, we do all-ceramic crowns, zirconia crowns, which are very strong. Just allows you to be able to restore a tooth back to its normal form and function.

Bounce Back From Dental Problems With Restorative Dentistry
Whether you have broken teeth or cavities, our dentists will help you find the right restorative procedure:
- Tooth Fillings – Stop dental decay with tooth fillings. We use non-metal fillings made of tooth-colored composite. They look completely natural in your smile.
- Dental Crowns – A strong zirconia crown can fix nearly any kind of damage, including broken teeth. We also offer gold crowns for those who prefer a metal restoration.
- Inlays or Onlays – These restorations repair decay that is too extensive for a filling but doesn’t require a crown.
- Root Canals – During this procedure, we remove infected material from inside your tooth. An untreated infection results in the loss of your tooth and potentially the spread of infection to other areas of your body.
No matter which restorative dental service you receive, you can get sedation if you need to relax.
Choose Replacement Teeth That Look & Feel Natural
Missing teeth can have a huge impact on your smile. You’ll find several tooth replacement options:
- Dental Implants – Since they are embedded in your jaw, implants keep your replacement teeth secure. Implants can replace a single tooth, several teeth, or an entire mouthful of teeth.
- Dental Bridges – A bridge replaces one tooth or several missing teeth. To avoid altering healthy teeth, we can attach your bridge to dental implants instead of to surrounding teeth.
- Dentures – Your denture options include conventional full dentures, partials, or implant-secured dentures.

Dr. Ligon is great and his staff is really friendly. I had a filling this week and it was a good experience, for a filling. Too many dentist give you the numbing shot and expect to get right to work, Dr. Ligon gives the numbing time to take effect so the experience is as painless as possible. He also doesn’t ask questions you can’t answer while working on your teeth. Appointments are easy to schedule and reschedule (as long as you know at least 24 hours in advance).
Primary reasons for rating: First rate hygienists. Very gentle, superbly managing fluid buildup while performing their duties. Friendly staff, always friendly and helpful. Excellent dentist, provides quick, painless, reduced stress services.
When you have a tooth that suffers damage from decay, infection, injury, or another type of trauma, restorative dentistry can repair it to save the tooth from further damage or extraction. Restorative treatment includes any service designed to relieve pain and help you regain oral function, like tooth fillings, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, and dental implants.
Because restorative dentistry covers such a wide range of procedures, you can expect an equally wide range of costs depending on the treatment you need. A simple tooth filling is going to cost much less than a dental crown, for example. Replacement teeth, like dentures and dental implants, will require more planning and more involved procedures, so you can expect a greater financial investment.
Advanced restorative dentistry covers those dental services that go beyond just placing a simple filling for a small cavity. Many patients have extensive dental damage and require a significant amount of treatment to repair this damage. Advanced treatment could include getting dental implants and securing replacement teeth to them to restore your smile and bite.
